RATES 2022

  1. The practice has attempted to make accommodations up to September 2021 asking for minimum to no Gap payments. However, we are now requesting Gap payments to be made after each session. 

  2. Sessions run for 50 minutes. 

  3. Medicare rebates are only available to clients with Care Plans provided by their General Practitioner. It is the client’s responsibility to get a Care Plan from a General Practitioner.

  4. The practice will submit Medicare claims directly to Medicare and clients will only be responsible for the “Rate after rebate” (The Gap Payment).

  5. The Gap Payment can be settled after each session. A card facility is available. 

  6. Gap Payment for Dr Tanya Robinson’s patients is set at $200.00 a session.

  7. If Dr Tanya Robinson’s patients do not have a Care Plan, they are private patients; the sessional rate is set at $250.00 and can be settled after each consultation. 

  8. Non-attendance at appointments is charged at 100% of the total fee.

  9. Cancellations with less than one clear business days’ notice prior to your scheduled appointment will attract a cancellations fee.

Session Fees

Self-funded Referrals

You do not require a referral to make an appointment to see our therapists. You are able to self-fund and self-refer. Self-funded referrals are not restricted to the amount of sessions that can be accessed per year. The full fee is to be paid in full at the end of the session either by Bank Card, Visa or Mastercard.

 

Mental Health Care Plan Referrals - Medicare Rebates

With a Mental Health Care Plan, you are entitled to a Medicare rebate for up to 20* sessions per year.

 

* The Federal Government announced the increase of the Medicare rebates for Psychology and Mental Health Social Workers from 10 to 20 sessions per year in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic until 30th June 2022.

 

To obtain a Mental Health Care Plan, you will be required to make an appointment with your treating general practitioner (GP), Psychiatrist, or Paediatrician, and request a mental health care plan to see a psychologist / mental health social worker.

 

Gap fees are payable after each session.

 

Private Health Rebates

The practice does not process rebates provided by Private Health Providers.

 

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

We are able to provide therapy services to NDIS participants who are Self-Managed or Plan-Managed.

 

Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) / BUPA Open Arms

 

We are able to provide services to DVA and Open Arms participants.
